Our club is led by a passionate group of trustees and officers who bring a wealth of experience and dedication:
Chairman: Max Ambrose
Oversees the club’s strategic direction and ensures alignment with our mission.
Treasurer: Mark Robbins
Manages the club’s finances, ensuring we remain sustainable and accountable.
Lead Trainer: Tom Ward
Leads all training programs, focusing on lifesaving, first aid, and water safety education.
Membership Officer: Keith Rathbone
Handles membership administration and supports member engagement.
Safeguarding Officer: Lucy Howell
Ensures the safety and welfare of all members, with a focus on young people and vulnerable individuals.
Deputy Safeguarding Officer & Kit Officer: Adrian Rolands
Assists in safeguarding duties and oversees the maintenance of lifesaving equipment.
Our Commitment to Good Governance
As a CIO, we follow best practices to ensure our club is run ethically and effectively. This includes:
- Regular trustee meetings to review progress and make key decisions.
- Annual General Meetings (AGMs) to share updates with members and vote on important matters.
- Compliance with all relevant legislation, including safeguarding and equality policies.
